Stanley R. Olsztyn, MD (H) has provided quality medical care to Valley residents for over 30 years. As one of Arizona’s first Integrative Healthcare Practitioners, Dr. Olsztyn, along with several colleagues and many Arizona citizen supporters, was able to have legislation passed establishing the Homeopathic and Integrative Medical Board in 1982. This Board licenses qualified Medical and Osteopathic Doctors, allowing them to incorporate proven and emerging natural/alternative healthcare techniques into their practices. Later Dr. Olsztyn served as President of the Arizona Homeopathic and Integrative Medical Association.
Doctor Olsztyn held positions as a University Instructor in Psychiatry and Neurology as well as being a State and Federal Examiner and consultant. While serving in the military he was also chief of Psychiatry and Neurology at Hunter Air Force Base in Savannah, Georgia. Later he coordinated Pain and Stress Management services at a large multi-specialty clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and lectured at the Cleveland Clinics.
At Samaritan Health Services in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Olsztyn and three colleagues established the first fully accredited Residency Training Program in Psychiatry in Arizona. He was in charge of Intern Training in Psychiatry and lectured in areas of Pain and Stress Management, Hypnosis, Meditation, Biofeedback and Mind-Body-Emotional Interactions in health and illness. He lectured frequently at Arizona Psychiatric Association meetings.
Prior to becoming Healing America’s lead consulting Physician, Dr. Olsztyn trained with nationally recognized physicians and researchers in allergy, immunology, endocrinology and metabology in a multitude of prestigious U.S. medical institutions as well as with world renowned healers in Mexico and Europe.
His dedication to his medical practice and to the care of his patients, with the latest proven conventional and alternative techniques recently earned him his Medical University’s Distinguished Service Award for outstanding medical service to his communities
